Melanin Skin Studio  LLC. was created by Owner and Lead Esthetician Monique Lashawn Rennier in 2019.  She was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Northern Nevada. Her family moved to Fort Worth Texas in 2013. At an early age skincare was a passion for Monique. Owning both an Avon and Younique cosmetic independent business she was curious about ingredients and how they react to the skin. So she went back to school to study aesthetics. Monique is now a licensed Esthetician in the state of Texas. She received her education and training at Aveda Arts & Science of Dallas. Continuously expanding her knowledge by attending yearly conferences such as the International Congress of Esthetics (ICE). She also received extended hours and training in Advanced Theory and technique with The Wax Connection in Houston, Texas.
